Banana Yogurt Cake

Banana Yogurt Cake

Sunday, March 23, 2008 10:52

Almost every weekend my 3 1/2 year old son and I end up baking something in the kitchen. His favorite are cookies or brownies, but this weekend I got him to depart from his usual routine a little bit. I checked out the book Boost Your Child's Immune System by Lucy Burney and in it are several kids recipes worthy of trying. The first thing my son and I made was the Banana Yogurt Cake. It is very easy to make and bakes in less than an hour. This would be great with strawberries and whip creme or some chocolate ice creme on top....anything that would satisy your sweettooth as the cake alone is not very sweet.

Muesli Bars

Muesli Bars

Saturday, March 22, 2008 21:24

Here's another recipe I tried this weekend with my 3 1/2 year old son. This one was so easy, even my 19 month old daughter was able to help with the stirring and mixing. I replaced the fructose called for with light corn syrup, but if you are looking for a sweeter bar you might want to go with the fructose (fruit sugar).

Irresistable Chocolate Chip Cookies

Friday, November 2, 2007 22:46

So what makes a chocolate chip cookie irresistable, ungrabable, just plain "yummy in my tummy" as my 3 year old son says!? Maybe it's the gooey chocolate or the smell of fresh baked cookies, or in my case, it's the "can I sneak another cookie without my wife finding out!?" So take a look at this recipe and you'll have more friends than cookies! I found this recipe on another blog but it points back to AllRecipes.com (original recipe posted here).
